Who am I?

Hello!

My name is Iona Yue (悦) McMonagle although some of my family call me Xiao Xiao (笑笑). I am Australian and already have my first passport to prove it but my mummy is Chinese and my daddy is Scottish so I’m also Scotinese (which sounds so much better than Chintish before you ask).

Mummy and daddy don’t like social media and they don’t want photos of me on it but that has caused a bit of a problem because most of my family lives overseas and they don’t get to see me often. Daddy had an idea though and he bought me this website, which could be quite handy when I’m older and I know what I want to do with my life. Smart-thinking, Citylinking (told you I had some Scottish blood in me).

I suppose it’s also good because just because you are mummy or daddy’s friend on social media, that doesn’t mean you want to see photos of me clogging up your pages if they start over-sharing like the other parents around the world. So, if you want to see me growing up, you’ll just need to ask mummy or daddy if they’ll send you a login to my own website. It’s kind of cool actually.
